Cool Tech Item: Microsoft Fingerprint Reader

Most of us have dozens of passwords we have to remember, whether it's the gate code for your your apartment building, your ATM pin, or the hundreds of passwords and security questions we have to get though on the internet just to view our bank statement, cell phone bill, or check Facebook.

Well the days of seeing the dreaded red text that says "Incorrect Password" are over thanks to Microsoft.
They've developed a fingerprint receiver that keeps you from having to remember all those internet passwords, and still offers maximum security.

All you do is place your fingertip on the scanner, and it reads your fingerprint, giving you access to whatever sites require your username and password.

Requirements for this to work are:
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows XP Professional/Home Edition/Media Center Edition/Tablet PC Edition (32-bit only)
  • 45 MB of available hard-disk space
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later or MSN Explorer 8.0 or 9.0
  • USB Port
  • CD Drive
The Microsoft DG2-00002 Fingerprint Reader is available at eMallgroup.com for nearly $27 off the retail price at $43.18.
